Other Ingredients: Natural and Artificial Flavoring, Sucralose, Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Oxide, Dextrose, No Artificial Colouring

Citrulline Malate

Citrulline Malate is the amino acid L-Citrulline attached to malic acid this allows best absorption, thus increases energy, improves exercise performance and prevents delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) by buffering lactic acid and free radicals from working muscles cells.

Citrulline supplementation also increases nitric oxide (NO) synthesis which dilates blood vessels and increases blood flow. It has been shown to double the circulating blood-volume of nitric oxide as compared to free form L-arginine. NO encourages nutrient delivery and waste product clearance from working muscles. It helps you perform more sets and reps #workoutgoals

One study with resistance-trained males, concluded that citrulline supplementation increased the number of reps they performed using a bench press by an amazing 52%! L-citrulline supplement also significantly decreased post workout muscle soreness.

Beta Alanine

Beta-alanine is an amino acid that raises muscle carnosineconcentrations. What's so special about carnosine? Carnosine is a potent antioxidant and free radical scavenger. It’s also your muscles first line of defense against the buildup of hydrogen ions and lactic acid during high-intensity exercise.

Human studies show that beta-alanine supplementation increases power output, strength, training volume, exercise performance and aerobic capacity. For example, one study with competitive soccer players found that when the players consumed a beta-alanine supplement daily for 12 weeks their performance improved by an amazing 34.3%. Similarly, researchers out of the U.K. found that with four weeks of beta-alanine supplementing, amateur boxers had an increase in their punch force by 20%.

Agmatine

Agmatine is a derivative, and more advanced form of the amino acid l-arginine. Agmatine assists with central nervous system function, nitric oxide (NO) synthesis, and regulates cellular energy.

Agmatine supplementation has been clinically shown to:

Increase levels of nitric oxide (NO) in the blood.

Improve energy and workout performance.

Improve mental clarity, stress management and mental health.

Increase muscle insulin sensitivity, promote leanness and lean muscle building.

Taurine

Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid. Taurine draws water and nutrients into muscle cells, promoting recovery and increasing cell volume. Taurine also regulates water and electrolytes in the blood, playing an essential role in preventing muscle cramping. Taurine supplementation helps maintain muscular performance and intensity during exercise, allowing you to train longer and harder. Taurine increases nutrient delivery as well, the addition of taurine to our WMD allows for great cell-volumizing and will increase the uptake by 30%. Taurine shown to support the heart and brain as well. Taurineraises the chemical transmitter GABA, which has a calming effect on the nervous system. Taurine can lower anxiety and the production of stress hormones that hinder rest.Taurine has significant antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which promote recovery after training and help protect muscles from exercised-induced oxidative stress. Several human studies have validated that taurine supplementation reduces muscle damage, oxidative stress, delayed onset muscle soreness, and muscle cramping.Vegetarians are at high risk of taurine deficiency; Ballistic Labs taurine is a vegan form.

Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine anhydrous is the pure, pharmaceutical version of caffeine. After consumption, caffeine crosses the blood-brain barrier and binds to andenosine receptors. Caffeine supplementation stops andenosine from putting the brakes on neural activity thus increasing focus, and brain function. As well caffeine boosts epinephrine, dopamine and serotonin which increase fat loss, enhance power output, and elevates your mood to help you feel and perform your best.

One study with male athletes found that those who were given a caffeine supplement before performing a chest pressing exercise, lifted significantly more weight in the chest press and achieved greater power output overall in their workout than those given the placebo supplement.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant (vitamin) found in all fruits and vegetables such as oranges, bell peppers, and papayas. The body requires vitamin C to produce collagen – the structural component of bones, blood vessels, teeth, and connective tissue. Vitamin C is an essential vitamin for humans, and offers protection against free radicals (cell killers) as an antioxidant, meaning “against” or anti – oxidation, prevents oxidizing of cells.

A study published in the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise illustrated that athletes undergoing strenuous exercise encounter greater levels of oxidative stress and require greater intakes of antioxidants such as vitamin C. Research from human studies suggests that vitamin C supplementation plays a dual role in increasing exercise performance. First, vitamin C helps with nitric oxide (NO) production and increases NO bioavailability. NO is responsible for promoting blood –flow and the sought after [ump we all are searching to attain in our workouts. Second, vitamin C supplementation prevents feelings of fatigue and perceived exertion during exercise.

L-Theanine

L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in tea leaves. When combined with caffeine, it provides a nootropic effect. Nootropics are cognitive enhancers; feel good energy and brain support. Theanine and caffeine together is often referred to as the smart caffeinecombination as theanine prevents side effects caffeine supplementation such as jitters or nausea. A study from Biological Psychology found that combining caffeine and L-theanine boosted cognitive performance better then caffeine alone.

The benefits of theanine do not end at the synergistic role it plays with caffeine in producing better energy and performance. Theanine supplementation has been clinically shown to reduce anxiety, promote overall feelings of well-being; a natural herbal to support mood swings, and stress.

Bitter Orange (30% synephrine)

Synephrine is a naturally occurring phytonutrient and alkaloid found in the bitter orange plant. Its chemical structure is similar to the alkaloid ephedrine which is known to enhance fat loss and used as a weight loss supplement. While the synephrine alkaloids are similar, synephrine does not have the side effects associated to ephedrine use.

Synephrine is a beta-agonist. Beta-agonists relax muscles of the airways, which widen the airways and result in easier breathing Synephrine has clinically shown to increase metabolic rate, increase caloric expenditure and elevate energy levels, this phytonutrient is a great addition to the Ballistic Labs WMD formula.

Niacin

Vitamin B3 (niacin) is one of the eight water-soluble B-vitamins. Our bodys cannot store water soluble vitamins, as they are excreted easily. It is crucial that you have an adequate daily replenishment and intake through food and supplementation.

Niacin causes blood vessels to dilate which increase blood flow and nutrient delivery. Studies have also shown that niacin increases brain function and can help protect against age related brain disorders like Alzheimer’s Disease. Additionally, niacin has been correlated with a decreased risk for many problems regarding poor brain function such as memory loss, migraine headaches, depression, motion sickness, and insomnia. Niacin is also used as a natural treatment for combatting high LDL (bad cholesterol). It has been known to also cause a “flushing “sensation. This tingling action, means its working, and promoting blood-flow and circulation. You may feel that tingle after consuming niacin immediately, or a surge of heat through your training. It is a normal reaction to niacin, enjoy the rush!
